Imagine if we were like this just crazy ant farm to make AI, and that you just have to figure out how to incentivize them enough to keep making computers.

There is a level of incompetence in decision-making in California's government, leading to paralysis in action.

The smartest thing you could do to be elected president right now would be to get arrested.

People who you easily could have rehabilitated or at least kept out of the public zone keep getting released and doing these fucking things. And it's almost like, again, if you wanted to destroy society, you would make people terrified.

Our cities are dying the kind of death born of chaos, where things just get so crazy and people literally die on the street.

Imagine being the mayor of L.A. with a hundred thousand homeless people and $23 billion spent without solving the problem. It's like taking your car to get fixed and it comes back worse.

The chaos in cities like Portland is unbelievable. If this was a house, I'd call protective services. It's an unfit government allowing people to live like this.

If there was a just system, perhaps the politicians in Washington, D.C., who cause government shutdowns would not get paid, feeling the same pain as the American people.

It's ridiculous to me, but this to me seems to be the playbook. You basically starve these agencies of funding, and then you say the reason that you're messing up isn't because you don't have the money and the technology that everyone else has. It's because you're politically motivated or you're biased in some sort of way.

The political landscape makes me feel politically homeless. There are good and bad choices in government, but current decisions, like those in Portland, are bad choices.
