This is a watershed moment. Certainly, this is an enormous moment. This war was blocked for two years. President Biden, who preceded him, was unable to find a way to stop it. President Trump found that way by being tough on both sides.

The war is nearing its end, but it is not over yet. Israel was attacked on October 7th, two years ago, and has since made significant progress against the Iran axis and its proxies, including Hamas and Hezbollah.

The Israelis were able to defang their worst enemies finally, I think, in a way that is substantial and could have real benefits going forward beyond just, you know, we're stopping them from killing us.

When people say that war doesn't work, they're wrong. When you have an intransigent enemy that attacks you, force and war are the only way to remove their capacity to harm you.

President Trump deserves all the credit in the world for holding the line, for understanding the incentive structures in the Middle East, for understanding that, yes, the only way to defeat terrorism is to destroy.

Democrats need to prove they can win a fight to show they can achieve genuine victories, especially with limited power.

If fighting terrorism is seen as causing terrorism, then the terrorists win. This was a key point by Christopher Hitchens, and it applies to the Israeli situation.

The conventional wisdom that military action does not guarantee security in the Middle East is a lie. History shows that military victories have led to peace deals, such as the Camp David Accords and the removal of Jordan as a threat after the Six-Day War.
